The Food Trends Experience provides show attendees a quick way to see, taste and discover new culinary innovations via demonstrations, and Dolores Canning Co. has just that.

During this experience, attendees will embark on a tasting adventure which will include samples of the famous Dolores Chili and their two additional brands—Roscoe’s at Home and Fonda Don Chon.

Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles famous Mac ‘N Cheese, Chili Mac and Greens are sold under the Roscoe’s at Home brand online (www.roscoesathome.com) and in retailers in Southern California. Nine-ounce entrees can be found in the freezer section.

The Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo is the largest show of its kind in the Western United States, and Expo Comida Latina, the only industry trade event focused on the Hispanic market, will be co-located with the show this year making for a larger event.

The three-day show will feature over 600 leading industry suppliers, culinary demonstrations and sampling.

Dolores Canning operates out of its East Los Angeles plant, and is a Hispanic family-owned business.

In the 1970s, Dolores began selling the Dolores Chili Brick, which quickly became known as “L.A.’s Favorite Chili.” The brick expanded outside of Southern California and into Nevada and Arizona. Today, 20-ounce bricks can be found in countless independents and major retailers nationwide behind freezer doors or in the fresh meat case. The five-pound tray can be found in foodservice retailers such as Jetro/Restaurant Depot, Smart & Final and Sysco.

In 2011, Dolores introduced its Chicken Chili Brick and Chili Sauce, which are available in Southern California retailers.
