Free Dolores Chili Fritos at Calvary Event

Dolores Chili will be giving away its popular Chili Fritos free at a Día De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration this weekend at Calvary Cemetery & Mortuary in East Los Angeles.

The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, in conjunction with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

The local community is invited to attend and create a memorial altar to honor their loved ones. Admission is free and doors open at 10:30 a.m.

Dolores will be among other vendors offering their food and other services to those in attendance. Dolores Chili Friots have become a popular items for community events, as well as at snack bars and concessions.

The popular snack is made simply by opening a bag of Friitos and topping it with a nice portion of Dolores Chili and cheese for those to enjoy with a spoon.

Calvary Cemetery is located at 4201 Whittier Blvd. East Los Angeles, 90023. The event will run until 5 p.m., and will include a mass and a blessing of the altars.
