“Bert’s Skirts” are named after our Grandfather Basilio “Bert” Muñoz. In 1954, Grandpa Muñoz came up with his famous recipe and began selling his Marinated Beef Skirt Steak to friends and business associates. The unique blend of flavorings & seasonings coupled with a tender cut of Choice Beef Skirt Steak was an immediate hit among all who tried them. For over 65 years, Dolores Foods has continued the tradition of making & selling our famous “Bert’s Skirts”. In recent years we began offering our Boneless Chicken Leg Meat marinated with the same blend of flavorings & seasonings.

Each case of “Bert’s Chicken” comes with two bags of 5 pounds each – 10 pounds of delicious marinated Chicken leg meat.
Cooking Directions:
“Bert’s Chicken” is best cooked over a charcoal or gas BBQ. The chicken cooks quickly. Cook each side about 6-8 minutes to reach desired “doneness”. If a BBQ grill is not available, “Bert’s Chicken” may also be cooked on a flat top griddle or electric skillet.
Serving Suggestion:
We recommend serving “Bert’s Chicken” with a traditional Spanish Rice and Beans dinner or any number of complementary sides. “Bert’s Chicken” is also great in tacos or in “tortas”, it makes an awesome chicken sandwich.
