“Bert’s Skirts” are named after our Grandfather Basilio “Bert” Muñoz.  In 1954, Grandpa Muñoz came up with his famous recipe and began selling his Marinated Skirt Steak to friends and business associates.  The unique blend of flavorings & seasonings coupled with a tender cut of Choice Beef Skirt Steak was an immediate hit among all who tried them.  For over 65 years, the Dolores family has continued the tradition of making & selling our famous “Bert’s Skirts”.  Try some today and you’ll see why they are the best skirt steak you’ve ever tried!

Each case of “Bert’s Skirts” comes with two bags of 5 pounds each – 10 pounds of delicious skirt steaks. 

Cooking Directions:

“Bert’s Skirts” are best cooked over a charcoal or gas BBQ. These skirt steaks cook quickly.  Cook each side about 6-8 minutes to reach desired “doneness”. If a BBQ grill is not available, “Bert’s Skirts” may also be cooked on a flat top griddle or electric skillet.

Serving Suggestion:

We recommend serving “Bert’s Skirts” with a traditional Spanish Rice and Beans dinner or any number of complementary sides. “Bert’s Skirts” are also great in tacos or in “tortas”, they make an awesome steak sandwich.
